Dr. Tae Kwon

Dr. Tae Kwon is a renowned orthodontist whose educational journey began at UCLA, where he completed his undergraduate and dental studies. He advanced his specialization at the University of Connecticut (UConn), earning a master's degree in orthodontics. During his time at UConn, Dr. Kwon was appointed as a visiting research scientist at Yale School of Medicine, Department of Surgery, where he conducted pivotal research on Orthognathic surgery outcomes using Invisalign.

Today, Dr. Kwon continues his academic involvement as an adjunct faculty member at UConn, where he teaches upcoming dental professionals. His commitment to the field is evident in his dedication to incorporating cutting-edge technology and techniques into his practice. Dr. Kwon's approach to orthodontics is deeply rooted in a desire to provide perImagesonalized care that not only achieves aesthetic goals but also enhances overall dental health.

Dr. Blalock grew up on a beef cattle farm in Crossville, TN. The time he spent working on the farm taught Dr. Blalock valuable problem-solving skills and a good work ethic. After Dr. Blalock suffered a dental injury when a cow’s hoof contacted his teeth, his dentist repaired his smile and sparked a fascination for the art of dentistry. Because of that experience, Dr. Blalock realized his calling was to become a dentist. He loves that dental work gives him the ability to work creatively with his hands while interacting with patients and making a positive impact on their lives.

Dr. Blalock graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tennessee Tech University with an undergraduate degree in health science biology. He went on to graduate with honors from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry

You should brush and floss your teeth and rinse your aligners with lukewarm water after every meal or snack to prevent the buildup of bacteria and plaque. Avoid drinking anything other than water while wearing your aligners to prevent staining. Never use hot water, toothpaste, or mouthwash to clean your aligners as it can damage them.
